Behold the Bridegroom
   George Kelly's 1927 drama opened on 26 December and ran for 88 performances at the Cort Theatre. Antoinette Lyle, a wealthy, high-living young woman played by Judith Anderson,* begins to have second thoughts about her wanton ways when she meets a sensitive young man who intrigues her. By the time they meet again, she has fallen seriously ill. The ending is ambiguous.
