The tomb of Thutmose III of Dynasty 18 in the Valley of the Kings. It was discovered by Victor Loret in 1898 and contains such architectural innovations as a well to deter floodwater and tomb robbers. It uniquely mentions the king’s mother and his wives. The king’s mummy was found in the royal cache at Deir el-Bahri.
