Egyptian god of the air and sunlight. According to the creation myth from Heliopolis, he was created by Atum, and by his union with Tefnut, goddess of moisture, he produced Geb and Nut. He is depicted in human form as a kneeling man with upraised arms and a sun disk on his head or as a lion.
