Greek Mihos. A lion god said to be the son of Bastet or Sakhmet. He was regarded as a god of war and protector of sacred environs. He was primarily worshipped in Lower Egypt at Leontopolis and had a chapel at Bubastis. His cult became more widespread during the Graeco-Roman Period.
