Mutemwia
(fl. 1350 BC)
Queen-mother of Amenhotep III and wife of Thutmose IV. She is not attested until the reign of her son and must have been a minor wife of his father. There is no evidence identifying her with the Mitannian princess who was also wife to Thutmose IV. In the templeof Luxor, she is depicted in the embrace of the godAmun, who according to tradition was the father of each Egyptian ruler.
