instruments
A category of personal property defined by Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Instruments are notes, checks, drafts, securities (such as stocks and bonds), and any other written evidence of rights to the payment of money that, in the ordinary course of business, is transferred by delivery with any necessary endorsements or assignments.
