A lake in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of the south of France on whose north shore there was a series of settlements in the sixth century BC that had both Etruscan (bucchero, amphorae) and Greek imports. The population from these villages may have contributed to the foundation of Lattes in about 500 BC.
