(CFDT)
The French Democratic Confederation of Labor is one of the major trade unions in France, created in 1964 when a majority of the members of the Confédération Française des Travailleurs Chrétiens (CFTC) (French Confederation of Christian Workers) decided to become secular. Today it coordinates its efforts with the Confédération Générale du Travail (CGT).
