(1963- )
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Reese began her career as assistant designer for Martine Sitbon, after graduating from the Parsons School of Design in 1984. From 1987 to 1989, she designed her own collection of contemporary women's clothing but closed it in 1990 to design a bridge collection for Magaschoni. In 1992, she launched her own collection, Tracy Reese for Magaschoni, and had her first runway show. Her collection was considered feminine and romantic with vintage overtones. In addition to the Tracy Reese line, she also produced "Plenty" by Tracy Reese and a home collection.
