Often referred to as a cult following because of its appeal to daughters, mothers, and grandmothers alike, Juicy Couture was launched in 1996 by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor. They started a Juicy jeans line in 1999 and the company was purchased by Liz Claiborne in 2003 for $47 million. In 2006, it was a $300 million brand.
