Prudencio
Prudencio m
Spanish and Portuguese: from Late Latin Prūdentius, a derivative of prūdens provident, prudent. Prudentius was the name of two Spanish saints. One, who lived in the 8th century, was born at Armentia in the province of Álava and became bishop of Tarazona in Aragon. The second (d. 861) was originally called Galindo, but changed his name to Prudentius when he moved to France to escape the Moors; he eventually became bishop of Troyes.
