Naphtali m
Biblical: name, probably meaning ‘wrestling’ in Hebrew, borne by one of the sons of Jacob. The traditional explanation is given in the following quotation: ‘and Rachel said, with great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali’ (Genesis 30: 8).
