Artemis f
From the name of the Greek goddess of the moon and of hunting, equivalent to the Latin DIANA (SEE Diana). It is of uncertain derivation, and may well be pre-Greek. As a given name, it is rare in any country, but is chosen occasionally by parents in search of something distinctive. It is borne by a granddaughter of Lady Diana Cooper, perhaps as an oblique tribute to the grandmother.
