Workers' political party headed by then Histadrut chairman and former Israel Labor Party member of the Knesset Amir Peretz that broke from Labor and ran independently in the 1999 election to the 15th Knesset, winning two seats. It won three seats in the 16th Knesset (2003) and then agreed to become reintegrated with the Israel Labor Party in May 2004. The One People Party platform stressed increased privatization without increased unemployment and an increased minimum wage.
