American composer and conductor. He taught at Loyola University and the Institute of Judaic Arts at Warwick, New York. He was appointed music director of Congregation Temple Israel in St Louis in 1970, then in 1973 became composer-in-residence at the Hebrew Union College in New York. His compositions include Love Songs for Sabbath, New Year's Service for Young People and Verses from Psalm 118.
