Zionist publicist. A London journalist, he corresponded with Theodor Herzl and acted as his secretary in England and at early Zionist congresses. He went to Boston in 1902 and edited Jewish journals. In 1910 he introduced Louis D. Brandeis to Zionism. He was later drawn to the Revisionist movement.
