Bohemian physician and poet, nephew of Baruch and Judah Jeiteles. Born in Brunn, he served as a physician there. In 1819 he published, with Ignaz Jeiteles, the short-lived Jewish periodical Siona. A cycle of his poetry was set to music by Beethoven.
