Lehman, Irving
(1876-1945)
   American jurist. He was born in New York. He served as state justice in the Supreme Court until 1924 and then as judge on the New York State Court of Appeals (1924-45). He was president of the Jewish Welfare Board (1921— 40), honorary vice-president of the American Jewish Committee (1942), and a supporter of development projects in Palestine.
