Nissenson, Hugh
(b. 1933)
   American novelist and short-story writer. He was born in New York. His work explores the difficulties of sustaining religious belief in modern socieity. His fictional publica-tions include My Own Ground and Tree of Life. In 1961 he reported on the trial of Eichmann for the magazine Commentary. His Notes from the Frontier is a memoir of visits to a kibbutz before and during the Six Day War.
