Artist. Born in Vivin, Bulgaria, his family moved to Bucharest and he worked in his father's business. He later went to Vienna where he studied art. He then went to Berlin where he sold caricatures and satirical drawings. In 1905 he settled in Paris and sent his drawings to the magazine Simplicissimus and exhibited his work in Berlin. After extensive travels, he returned to Paris in 1920.
