Selznick, David O.
(1902-65)
   American film producer. Born in Pittsburgh, he and his brother, Myron, became Hollywood agents. In 1926 he worked at MGM as a script-reader. He then moved to Paramount, later becoming RKO's vice president in charge of production. In 1933 he returned to MGM before forming his own company, Selznick International. His films include Gone with the Wind.
