Galician Hebrew satirist. He was born in Koniuszek and lived in various cities before settling in Brody in 1831. In addition to his literary work, he was active in Haskalah circles. The Watchman of the House of Israel consists of five satires on Jewish society in Galicia and Poland in the first half of the 19th century.
