musculus constrictor pharyngis inferior
[TA] inferior constrictor muscle of pharynx: origin, undersurfaces of cricoid and thyroid cartilages; insertion, median raphe of posterior wall of pharynx; innervation, glossopharyngeal, pharyngeal plexus, rami of superior laryngeal and recurrent laryngeal; action, constricts pharynx. It is divided into a cricopharyngeal part and a thyropharyngeal part (pars cricopharyngea and pars thyropharyngea).
