Morvan syndrome
1. syringomyelia. 2. a manifestation of syringomyelia in which the subcutaneous tissues of the hands become thickened, edematous, soft, swollen, cyanotic, and cold (see Marinesco succulent hand, under hand), associated with analgesic ulceration of the fingertips and paresthesia and atrophy of the hands and forearms.
