ALL
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, also called acute lymphocytic leukemia, an acute rapidly progressive form of leukemia characterized by the presence in the blood and bone marrow of large numbers of unusually young (immature) white blood cells destined to become lymphocytes. These cells, called lymphoblasts, are rare items in the blood under normal circumstances. Both names for the disease — acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia — are abbreviated ALL. ALL is spoken not as the word "all", but as the three letters: A L L.
