A euphemism for being fired.
Example Citation:
He offers ways to fight doublespeak, as simple as highlighting it in memos, rewriting the offending phrase in understandable language and placing it on the bulletin board. But be careful when you do this with management - you might find yourself "being walked" or "uninstalled" — that's "fired" to plain talkers.
