Notes:
While doing some follow-up research for this term, I discovered that it's not new at all. It has, in fact, been a part of the language since at least 1961 when it made an inexplicable appearance in Webster's Third New International Dictionary. I'm going to leave it in the database anyway, just for the heck of it.
