An autumn festival of the Tonogo Hachiman shrine, Iwate. A unique form of festival music and dance called nambu-bayashi (southern music) is performed as well as traditional arts which include shishi-odori (see Shishi-mai, lion dance), taue-odori (rice-planting dance; see Ta-asobi), Yabusame (horseback archery), kagura using hyottoko and okame masks and a children's costumed parade (chigo gyoretsu).
