Kenneth Clark [Kenneth Clark]
(1903–83) an expert on the history of art who wrote many books. He is best known for his very successful television series and book Civilisation (1969) about the history of Western European art and culture. He was made a ↑knight in 1938 and a ↑life peer in 1969.
