Campylobacterales
Cam·py·lo·bac·ter·a·les (kam″pə-lo-bak″tər-aґlēz) a metabolically and ecologically diverse order of bacteria of the class Epsilonproteobacteria, phylum Proteobacteria, grouped together on the basis of 16S rRNA sequence analysis and consisting mainly of curved or spiral cells; many are human and animal pathogens. It includes the families Campylobacteraceae and Helicobacteraceae.
